First of all, thank u for listening to/downloading this project. Sincerely. In the midst of a hectic and crazy last couple years, several side projects, and shuffled ideas, im finally done and completely satisfied with this, my 2nd ever solo project.....I decided to release this for free, because i really love these songs, and i want people to be able to own them and enjoy them like i do. I recorded and analyzed 34 songs to cut down to these final 12. I really wanted this project to be diverse and not just one thing. I hope listeners find that this album covers a lot of ground musically. That was a big goal of mine for this project. The goal was to showcase my complete abilities. Production, both sampling and composing original. (I played live drums, guitar, and keys on this project.) And vocally, to rhyme, melodize, and write content that was meaningful and relevant to me and hopefully others. These are the best songs (to me) that i have made in 10 years as a solo artist. Hope you like them as much as i do......Big thank yous to my dudes reach and reggie b, two of my favorite musicians and people, as well as tracey hillman, an insanely talented vocalist......TO EVERYBODY THAT LOVES GATES I LOVE YOU TOO!!!!! the rest of yall get your fingers out your butts!
